All manuscript submissions must be submitted via a literary agent: you should contact an agent to obtain advice as to how your manuscript is best presented.

There are a number of organisations that help writers improve their writing skills, assess their work and provide professional development opportunities.

The Australian Writer’s Marketplace is the most comprehensive guide to writing and publishing networks, opportunities and markets, with over 2100 current listings in print and online. Each state and territory also has a writers’ centre that provides creative writing courses and events, industry seminars and advice, as well as services to gain developmental feedback on your work.
