Louise Penny

Louise Penny has worked in news and current affairs for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Her first novel, Still Life, won the Britain’s New Blood Dagger award and the Arthur Ellis Award in Canada for best first crime novel. Dead Cold won The Dilys Award. Given by the Independent Mystery Booksellers Association (IMBA) of America for the book they most enjoyed selling in 2006. Penny lives in a small leafy village near Montreal.
