About the Author

Professor Jennie Brand-Miller is an internationally recognised authority on carbohydrates and health who has championed the GI approach to nutrition for over 25 years. Winner of the prestigious ATSE Clunies Ross Medal for advancing science and technology, she is Professor of Nutrition at the University of Sydney.
Kaye Foster-Powell is an accredited practising dietitian with extensive experience in diabetes management, providing consultancy on all aspects of the glycemic index. She has coauthored all the titles with Jennie Brand-Miller in the worldwide bestselling New Glucose Revolution series.
Professor Stephen Colagiuri is Professor of Medicine in the new Boden Institute of Obesity, Nutrition and Exercise at the University of Sydney. A Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, he is a practising endocrinologist and a leading researcher and policy maker who is recognised nationally and internationally.
