Bob Howard is an IT specialist and field agent for the Laundry, the branch of Her Majesty s secret service that deals with occult threats.

Charles Stross is a full-time science fiction writer, living in Edinburgh, Scotland. He's won two Hugo Awards and been nominated many times over, and his books have been translated all over the world.
