Get Reading in 2011

The Get Reading! campaign for 2011 has kicked off and runs until September 30th. An Australian Government initiative, Get Reading! hosts many exciting activities and events celebrating the wonderful world of books and reading.

50 Books You Can’t Put Down is the guide to fifty of the year’s best books, including Hachette authors Anita Shreve, Favel Parrett, David Nicholls,  Sarah Winman, Jessica Watson and Fiona O’Loughlin.

Readers are guaranteed a great read within this list, and if you needed a further incentive, any book purchase from the list will see choosing a FREE book – it could be a limited edition/collection of dazzling stories by some of Australia’s best writers, called 10 Short Stories You Must Read in 2011; or The Land of Dragons by award-winning children’s author Emily Rodda.
