Hachette Manuscript Development Program 2011 shortlist announced.

Hachette Australia and the Queensland Writers Centre are proud to announce the shortlist for the 2011 Hachette Manuscript Development Program.

The 2011 Hachette Manuscript Development Program was open to emerging writers of commercial fiction, non-fiction, and young adult fiction.

The Program gives up to ten writers the chance to work with senior editors, industry professionals and publishers to develop high-quality commercial fiction and non-fiction manuscripts at a four-day retreat in Brisbane to be held in November.

Hachette has been involved with the program for three years and proudly publishes two graduates of the program, Favel Parett and Phillipa Fioretti.
