Alan Ford

Alan Ford was born in 1938. He grew up in south east London around the Elephant and Castle. He left school at the age of 15 and after a myriad of different jobs and two years National Service he found his way into the acting profession.
Alan Ford studied drama at the East 15 Acting School. Since then he has worked extensively in theatre, film, television and radio. His films include Snatch, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, The Long Good Friday, An American Werewolf in London and he was in the original radio cast of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. His many TV appearances include Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge, The Bill, Minder, EastEnders and G. F. Newman's Law and Order. He has also appeared on stage at the National Theatre, the Royal Court, many repertory theatres and the Theatre Royal Stratford East. He now lives in Primrose Hill, London. This is his first book.
