DESCRIPTION:There is an air of mystery surrounding the publishing industry and it can be hard to work out whether you have a book idea and/or manuscript that might catch the eye of a publisher and the steps you might take to have it considered. Experienced author and publisher Sophie Hamley (who writes as Sophie Green) will ask questions that help reveal: the type of publishing outcome you might be after and why\; what different publishers are looking for\; and how to start thinking about pitching your work.\nThis session will be facilitated by writer and memoirist\, Qin Qin.
