Brian Pinkney
In addition to two Caldecott Honors, Brian Pinkney (www.brianpinkney.net) has also been awarded the Boston Globe/Horn Book Award, a Coretta Scott King Award, and four Coretta Scott King Honors. Whenever he sets a goal he taps into his inner animal, and he credits an active and playful imagination as a key to his success in sports, art, and life. Brian lives in Brooklyn, New York with his wife and frequent collaborator, Andrea Davis Pinkney, and their two children.
