  • A Tale of Magic is an amazing book, with a really intricate plot. It is a prequel to the Land of Stories series, and during it, we witness the beginning of the formation of the renowned Fairy Council, which so far consists of; Tangerina Turkin, Xanthous Hayfield, Emerelda Stone, Skylene Lavenders, Brystal Evergreen (Alias Brystal Eve Bailey) and Lucy Goose. I really enjoyed reading it, as the story was set in medieval like times, and had an element of mystery surrounding it. I absolutely love how well Chris Colfer captured each characters’ personalities. The plot twist at the end completely caught me off guard, and I loved it! This is definitely one of my favourite books. By Mathilde Cross, 11 years of age, Campbells Creek
