Felecia Hatcher-Pearson is a trailblazing social entrepreneur with an authentic voice for change, inspiring a new generation of leaders through her conversational talks on entrepreneurship, college funding, and personal branding. She was honoured by the White House as one of the Top 100 Entrepreneurs under 30, was a TEDx presenter, and has been featured on NBC's Today Show's "Young African Americans Making History," on the Food Network, and in the Wall Street Journal, Entrepreneur, Essence Magazine, and Black Enterprise.
In 2008, after falling flat on her face while attempting to chase an ice cream truck in heels, Hatcher started her own gourmet ice pops and ice cream catering company, Feverish Ice Cream. The company specializes in vegan-friendly ice cream and ice pops for events and retail. Tapping into her marketing acumen, Hatcher formed strategic partnerships with many companies, including Universal Music, Adidas, Whole Foods, Live Nation, JCrew, Capitol Records, The W Hotel, and Vitamin Water, helping them promote their new products through her trucks, carts, social media networks, and sponsored ice cream give-a-ways. Feverish Ice Cream is dedicated to sustainability and innovation and donates a portion of each popsicle sold to charity. Hatcher and her partner Derick Pearson also run a youth entrepreneurship program called PopPreneurs to teach youngsters in urban areas how to become entrepreneurs through ice cream carts.
