Francois Matarasso is a writer and researcher. He is interested in how people create and interact with culture. In 2011 he began a series of projects that explored undervalued areas of cultural life. He has worked in over 35 countries and holds honorary professorships at Robert Gordon University (Scotland) and Griffith University (Australia).
