Julie Goodwin first came to the attention of the Australian public as the winner of the hit television show MasterChef Australia in 2009. Viewers loved her honesty, sense of humour and family-focused cooking style. Julie went on to turn her passion into a hugely successful career, including releasing six successful cookbooks, regularly appearing on television, writing a column for The Australian Women's Weekly for almost ten years and co-hosting breakfast radio on Star 104.5 for four years. In 2014, Julie opened her own cooking school, Julie's Place, on the Central Coast of New South Wales.
