Lewis Lansford lived in Japan for two years, working as an English teacher and cross-cultural trainer for a large manufacturing company. Since leaving Japan, he has written and edited textbooks for students of English in Japan and around the world. Chris Schwarz is an award-winning photojournalist. He has produced a number of books, ranging from the problems of homelessness to the remains of Jewish culture in Poland. The consultant Professor Glenn Hook is Professor of Japanese Studies at the University of Sheffield.
