Praise for Dead Simple

  • Billingham is one of a handful of authors whose words flow as smoothly as his plots - Sunday Express

  • Clare Mackintosh - TBC

  • An assured police procedural with an appealing protagonist and a strong cast

  • An assured debut by an Irish writer, written with elegance and it delivers more twists than a corkscrew

  • I absolutely loved it! ... One of the best crime thriller I've read in a long time

  • The most startling protagonist in modern crime fiction ... Brutal, freakish and totally original

  • Hodgson's utterly compelling debut is fiendishly plotted and dripping with atmosphere

  • C. L. Taylor is the Queen of Just-One-More-Chapter Lit ... I devoured this compelling novel
