The Moth

The Moth is an acclaimed non profit organization dedicated to the art and craft of storytelling. Since its launch in 1997, The Moth has hosted tens of thousands of curated events, open-mic StorySLAMs and workshops to crowds worldwide. The Moth Radio Hour now airs on over 575 radio stations, including the BBC, and The Moth podcast is downloaded more than 90 million times annually. Meg Bowles, Catherine Burns, Jenifer Hixson, Sarah Austin Jenness, and Kate Tellers, along with The Moth's artistic and workshop teams, have directed people from all walks of life - including astronauts, Nobel Prize-winners and high school students - to develop true personal stories that have moved and delighted millions of listeners.
