Veronicah Larkin

Robert Gibson grew up in rural Australia. He commenced music studies at a young age and took his first degree at the Sydney Conservatorium. Further studies were taken at the University of Sydney and the University of Sydney and the University of Oxford, from where he holds a D.Phil. A scholar of Wagner and Richard Strauss, he has written widely on music and taught at universities in Australia, Germany and England. He is currently Lecturer in Music at St Catherine s College Oxford. Volga Olga from the Mulga is his first children s book.
Veronicah Larkin is an early childhood consultant with a Master of Education (in Early Childhood) and a Master of Arts. She has been an Early Childhood lecturer for Macquarie University, as well as a teacher, and has written for children's television, film and stage, journals, academic book chapters, teacher resource materials and a range of highly successful and best-selling early childhood text books. Volga Olga from the Mulga is her first children s book.
Jody Pratt is a Melbourne-based illustrator. She graduated with a Diploma of Art Illustration from NMIT in 2003, winning an award at the graduates art exhibition. Jody works as a freelance illustrator and is currently working on other publishing projects and canvases for exhibitions, but Volga Olga from the Mulga is her first children's picture book.
