Yang-May Ooi
Yang-May Ooi was born in Malaysia of Chinese parents and grew up in Kuala Lumpur. Educated at Rodean and St Hilda's, Oxford, she practised as a solicitor for eight years. She is now a practising solicitor. Her first novel, THE FLAME TREE, was published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1998. Yang-may Ooi lives in London
