Koto Takimori was born in Ichikawa, Japan, in 1974. He is a researcher, writer and scriptwriter. He has written, among others, the Disney no Kamisama (Gods of Disney) series, which has sold a total of 800,000 copies worldwide, and What a Cat Taught Me in Deep Sadness. He currently writes novels and children's stories.
