Bill Condon

Bill Condon is an Australian author, playwright, poet and for a period of time a newspaper journalist. He has written more than eighty books, including several collections of plays and poetry, as well as short stories, novels and works of non-fiction. A large number of his published books were written for young readers. In 2001, his book MISS WOLF AND THE PORKERS won the KOALA (Kids Own Australian Literature Awards) in the younger readers category. Two of his works, DOGS and NO WORRIES were Honour Books in the older readers category of the Children's Book Council Book of the Year Awards. In 2010, Bill Condon won the Prime Minister's Literary Award in the inaugural category of young adult fiction with his novel CONFESSION OF A LIAR, THIEF AND FAILED SEX GOD.
