Henrietta Stickland

Henrietta Stickland has been creating children's books for thirty years. She has four sons and is never happier than when she's surrounded by them and their eccentric menagerie of animals, at home in the depths of the beautiful countryside on the Somerset/Dorset border. As well as bringing up her children, she ran a children's publishing house for many years, where she most enjoyed ghostwriting picture book texts for unpublished illustrators, and thereby helped launch several successful careers. Passionate about the written word and engaging young children to want to read, Henrietta continues to write picture books for young children today.
