Sandra Glover started her working life as a teacher. She sprung to prominence in 1997 with her exciting debut novel, The Nowhere Boy, which was short-listed for the Lancashire Book Award and the Lanarkshire Book Award. The Girl Who Knew was also short-listed for the Lancashire Book Award. Best known for her psychological thrillers, she also tackles subjects as diverse as anorexia with compassion and style. She lives in North Yorkshire.
