Professor Stuart Ross Taylor is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Nuclear Physics, Australian National University with a personal stake in the solar system as the asteroid 5670 was recently named Rosstaylor. He was awarded the 1998 Leonard Medal of the International Meteoritical Society and was also a Principal Investigator for the NASA Apollo Missions.
