The National Childbirth Trust

The National Childbirth Trust was launched in 1957, and has since transformed almost every aspect of maternity care for the benefit of mothers, fathers, and children. It has over 300 branches and over 60,000 active members in the UK, and as their services are also open to non-members, they reach up to half a million people. It provides enquiry lines and social and educational events as well as invaluable local support for new parents.
