Wynn Wheldon is a freelance writer born and brought up in London, and educated at Oxford. He has worked in bookselling, politics, the arts and broadcasting. He is the author of, among other things, The Arts in the United States, 1960-1985, World Famous War Heroes, and The Great Orsino: Orson Welles as Conjuror. He has contributed to journals and newspapers in both the United Kingdom and the USA, and is also a published poet and photographer. He continues to live in London with his wife and their three children.
