Abigail Avis

Abigail Avis is a London-based author with a keen interest in women that fell between the cracks of the swinging sixties, especially those who initiated domestic revolutions in surprising and brilliant ways. Her love of saucy stories began early, sneaking books from the adult section of the library as a curious pre-teen and she still proudly uses the Tupperware inherited from her Nan's 1960s party stash. She has two young children, and studied and taught English literature before entering a fellowship with the Royal Literary Fund, which facilitated the writing of Wet Ink.
