Emma Pei Yin is an Australian‑Chinese writer, editor, and literary advocate. Her work has appeared in Books+Publishing, Being Asian Australian, and The Hong Kong Review, and she is the founder of yinfluence editorial, which supports writers from under‑represented backgrounds. She is widely recognised as an exciting new voice in contemporary historical fiction.

Jane Yang's historical debut The Lotus Shoes (published in 2025) was a USA Today Bestseller, and has been translated into 13 languages. Her next novel, Winter of the Bride, will be available in February 2027. Jane's family migrated from Vietnam to Australia when she was seven.

Emma and Jane will be in-conversation with Marina Sano, a Japanese-Australian writer and critic, freelance editor, and bookstore owner who co-founded Amplify Bookstore and is an advocate for more diverse and representative publishing.
