SWF Writing Queer Sydney

Since the first Mardi Gras of 1978, and even well before then, Sydney has had a rich queer culture of connection, resistance and community.

In stories set on our familiar streets, these writers explore and share the oft-hidden queer side of Sydney. Madeleine Gray (Chosen Family), Fiona Kelly McGregor (The Trap) and Zoe Terakes (Eros) weave together the distant past, recent history and current day for a complex portrait of this city full of lust, danger and friendship.

Join Madeleine, Fiona and Zoe for a discussion of writing Sydney’s queer past and present. In conversation with host Benjamin Law.
