Join Peter Fitzsimons as he introduces the story of George Mallory and Edmund Hillary and the quest to be the first to conquer Everest.

Bestselling storyteller Peter FitzSimons explores the extraordinary true story behind The Race to the Top of the World, a gripping account of the quest to conquer Mount Everest. Drawing on the lives of legendary climbers George Mallory and Edmund Hillary, FitzSimons reveals a tale of ambition, courage, endurance and mystery that spans decades and stretches from the frozen slopes of Everest to one of history's greatest unanswered questions: did Mallory reach the summit before his disappearance in 1924?
