    Laini Taylor is an award-winning, internationally bestselling author of fantasy books for teens, adults, and kids. Apart from the Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy, which has been translated into thirty-seven languages, she's known for Strange the Dreamer, Muse of Nightmares, the Dreamdark books, and Lips Touch. She lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband, artist Jim Di Bartolo, daughter Clementine (also an artist), cats Witch and Hazel, and yeti Melvin. Her online writing community welcomes writers at all stages of their journeys.
