Melissa Stewart

Melissa Stewart lives in eastern Massachusetts, USA, and is an award-winning author of more than 190 science books for children. Melissa, a Sibert Medal Honoree, has always been fascinated by the natural world and is passionate about sharing its wonder with readers of all ages. While researching for Mega-Predators of the Past, she visited museums in the western United States, Canada and Europe, and interviewed scientists from around the world.
