Boundless Spirit offers an introduction to this rich tradition via 101 profiles and must-know works by an extraordinary class of artists changing the face of Iranian culture, and the global art scene. Stunning artwork reproductions and informative bios for each artist are supplemented by introductory texts by top critics, artists, collectors, and activists.
The artists and works were selected by Mohammed Afkhami a globally renowned collector of contemporary Iranian art and the author of Honar (Phaidon, 2017) in consultation with a team of expert curators, scholars and critics.
The cover features a bespoke artwork created by artist Afruz Amighi, who is also featured in the book.
