How does a small-town Canadian girl become fodder for London tabloids? One leopard print shoe at a time!

The Accidental Socialite is a hilarious semi-autobiographical story of a young lady who leaves Canada to make it in London, only to be thrust into the limelight after an unfortunate incident involving a famous footballer, a nightclub and some really great shoes.

Paige Crawford is The Accidental Socialite, a quirky and clumsy twenty-two-year-old whose life is about to change in all the right ways! But first? Some mishaps, mistakes and mayhem -- all caught on camera!

Hold on to your Choos! The Accidental Socialite is romantic comedy at its best.

Stephanie Wahlstrom

Stephanie Wahlstrom grew up in Edmonton, Canada where a significant amount of her time was spent making up and acting out stories. She was studying to be an actress when she realized there weren't any parts for women being written. So, Stephanie wrote herself a short screenplay just to be in it and quickly realized that writing was her true passion.

She graduated from the University of Alberta with an English and Sociology degree and also has a Bachelor of Motion Picture Arts (that's a fancy term for Film School) from Red Deer College. She moved to London in 2008 and aside from being obsessed with Eggs Benedict, Fruit Roll Ups and travelling, she also works in Children's Television.
