Second in the Charles Lenox series set in Victorian England

In the small hours of the morning one autumn day in 1866, a frantic widow visits detective Charles Lenox. Lady Annabelle's problem is simple: her beloved son, George, has vanished from his room at Oxford. When Lenox visits his alma mater to investigate, he discovers a series of bizarre clues, including a murdered cat and a card cryptically referring to the September Society. Charles Finch

Charles Finch was born in New York City in 1980. He graduated from Yale and Oxford Universities where he majored in English and History, and did his master's in Renaissance English Literature. He is the grandson of American artist and writer Anne Truitt. He lives in Oxford, England.
