Praise for The Star-faced Crocodile: A dazzling book about being yourself

  • This is a lovely book and David Melling's illustrations are excellent. - writeaway.org

  • Bears and crocodiles - usually the villains of the piece - are, in this sweet story, just two lost souls looking for a friend. .... I wasn't surprised to learn that this book had been written in collaboration with a class of school children - there is a certain naive stream-of-consciousness feel to the plot that only adds to its appeal. - Carousel

  • Endearing and poignant tale enhanced by appealing illustrations. - Bournemouth Daily Echo

  • Extremely inventive. - School Librarian
