A hilarious collection of stories about the beach from a high profile author and illustrator

Right round the edge of the Australian continent, we re all lining up shoulder-to-shoulder to get our bit of land with a water view. And at every opportunity we throw ourselves at the water. Most of the time it s fun, but sometimes it s a disaster!

Andrew Daddo s latest collection of stories is about the totally mad way we spend our time fishing, diving, sailing, surfing, water-skiing and just plain lazing away on the beach. And you ll need to READ BETWEEN THE FLAGS!

Losing your pants on the skis, and having to borrow some from your father or his new girlfriend; diving and getting caught by a giant clam; hooking Thumper, the big one, the legendary mongrel fish, and letting him get away. Fergus Kipper and his loser family and friends are at it again - this time in the perfect summer holiday read. Their hilarious adventures on the water and under it will leave you gasping for mouth-to-mouth.

Andrew Daddo is really funny. He writes like a kid having an adventure. Jaye, 10
