Louise Lawrence

Louise Lawrence (1943-2013) was a widely respected and popular writer of science fiction and fantasy for young adults. She remains best known for the dystopian classic, Children of the Dust, which was controversial when it first appeared and has since achieved cult status. Her first novel, Andra, appeared in 1971, and her last work was The Witch and the Weather Mage. Her Llandor Trilogy is being reissued in e-book on the Hodder Silver list.
