This book is for children wanting to find out more about autism.

Having Autism is a 'way of being' which influences thinking, feeling and reactions to people and situations. It is a lifelong condition which affects girls and boys. A lot of people with autism say the struggle with communication skills and they find interacting with the world very confusing and difficult. Being autistic is made up of lots of different aspects - some will feel like strengths and some will feel difficult and hard to live with. These will be explored throughout the book.
