"Happy Talk" by Captain Sensible was the first single Cheryl ever bought, age seven. Cheryl knew when she was eight years old that she wanted to a) help people and b) write books, so she sometimes pinches herself as she gets to write helpful how-to books for a living.
Having experienced the loss of her mother as a teenager and the loss of her father a few years ago, Cheryl now devotes her life to helping others to make the most of each moment of theirs.
As well as writing empowering books to inspire and inform, Cheryl is a qualified Positive Psychology Practitioner, Ambassador of Well-being for the Network of Well-being and contributes to Psychologies magazine and The Huffington Post, among others.
