Dr Michael Mosley studied at Oxford University before training to be a doctor at the Royal Free Hospital in London. After qualifying, he joined the BBC, where he became a science journalist, executive producer and a well-known television presenter. He wrote and presented series on BBC One, Two, Three and Four, as well as BBC Radio Four; and had won numerous television awards, including an RTS (Royal Television Award) and was named Medical Journalist of the Year by the British Medical Association.
